Who can benefit from Play and Creative Arts Therapy?

Children, young people and adults who are experiencing or have experienced the following issues can benefit from this therapy:

  • Trauma such as emotional abuse, physical abuse or sexual abuse
  • Divorced or separated home environments
  • Bereavement or a form of loss
  • Have been subjected to any kind of trauma

  • Is at risk if being/is excluded from school
  • Behavioural issues, challenging behaviour (SEBD)
  • Has nightmares or has difficulty sleeping
  • Delayed development or has a disability/learning difficulties
