A mixture of previous and present work in various areas connected with children and young people has given me valuable experience which I truly cherish. Examples are working with children and adolescents in capacities who have additional needs, SEN and vulnerability. Alongside this, my degree in part Psychology and then Education Studies contributed towards my interest in this field. In fact, my experiences in various areas of work ignited my interest in the well-being of children and young people. Seeing what so many children and youth went through on a daily basis without any emotional support, some of which was due to trauma and alternative causes.

The power of Play and Creative Arts Therapy and working therapeutically in general, never ceases to amaze me. The contribution it has towards a happier and healthier self is beautiful and precious.

Blossom Play Therapy has diverse past and present experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents due to mild, moderate and severe causes. Examples are SEBD (social, emotional and behavioural difficulties), loss, bereavement, attachment, various trauma to various SEN (Special educational needs) and many more. I strive to continue my professional development which enhances my knowledge, skills and practice. All of this contributes towards delivery of a professional and supportive service.

Parent - Mrs, Blackburn

Play Therapy has been beneficial especially for my grandson, especially when the child has been through an ordeal. It has definitely helped him to feel better. Play Therapy helps to see what happens in a child's mind as children do not always speak about it.

Grandparent - Mr H, Blackburn
